Regalo Studios
A Manila-born, Toronto-based curator who spent a decade championing Filipino artists through VINTA Gallery, then turned the lens on herself and built a fashion brand for women who dress with intention and answer to no one.
Shop Regalo StudiosCaroline Mangosing spent ten years making space for Filipino artists at VINTA Gallery. Regalo Studios is what happens when a curator turns that same rigour on herself. The brand’s tagline — “Deliberate Dressing for the Modern Matriarchy” — is not a slogan. It is a position. After two decades of putting other people in the spotlight, Caroline has built something unambiguously her own.

Fast Facts
She Spent a Decade Putting Filipino Artists in the Spotlight. Then She Stepped Into It.
Caroline Mangosing came to Toronto from Manila and spent twenty years building a career at the intersection of art, culture, and community. In 2013, she founded VINTA Gallery — one of the first platforms in Canada dedicated to championing Filipino and Filipino Canadian artists. For a decade, she made space for other people’s stories. Then she made her own.
Regalo Studios launched as Caroline’s fashion venture: a deliberate pivot from curator to creator, rooted in the same conviction that has defined her career: that Filipino stories, Filipino aesthetics, and Filipino women deserve to be seen at the highest level. The name is the brief. Regalo means gift. The studio’s philosophy follows: “Deliberate Dressing for the Modern Matriarchy.”
“For women with storied style and zero f*cks to give.”
The collections draw on 90s modular aesthetics — structured, versatile, built to mix and layer across seasons. Tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear, bags, hats, jewelry. Every piece is designed to work as part of a system, not a moment. Capsule collections and atelier-made pieces sit alongside accessible everyday staples. The result is a wardrobe built for women who know what they want and have stopped explaining it.
Press followed quickly: ELLE Canada, The Globe and Mail, NUVO Magazine, VITA Magazine, and Niche Magazine have all covered the brand. For Caroline, the recognition is secondary. The work is the point, as it always has been.
Why We Featured Them
What Makes Regalo Studios Different
01
From Gallery to Garment Rack
Caroline Mangosing founded VINTA Gallery in 2013 to champion Filipino and Filipino Canadian artists. Regalo Studios is the next chapter: the same cultural conviction, expressed through fashion. Ten years of platforming others. Now: her own.
02
Deliberate Dressing as a Philosophy
Regalo Studios is built around intentionality. The 90s modular aesthetic — structured, versatile, layerable — reflects a specific worldview: clothing as a considered practice, not a trend cycle. Every piece is designed to last and to work.
03
The Modern Matriarchy, Defined
The brand’s stated audience is women with storied style and zero interest in justifying their choices. In an industry that constantly asks women to perform aspiration, Regalo Studios asks nothing of the kind. It simply makes clothes for women who already know.
